2ne1‘s Dara recently uploaded a photo of her fourth head shaving for 2ne1′s “I Love You” comeback.

She uploaded the photo on her me2day with the post, “Good morning! I shaved my hair again for ‘Inkigayo’! It had grown a lot! Why does it grow back so quickly? It is now the fourth time [shaving my hair]! Watch today’s ‘Ingigayo’! See you later!”

Fans commented on the photo with, “Fourth time? She must hate shaving her hair“, “Wow, it’s already the fourth time“, and “Only Dara can pull off the half shaved head look.”

[INFO] 2NE1′s ‘lipstick art’ for New Evolution promo pictures becomes a hot topic

 

2NE1’s shock factor generally lies around the territory of clothes and hairstyles. This time, however, the girls decided play around with their make up as they pose for promotional posters for “New Evolution,” the girls’ upcoming world tour.

The posters see the four ladies posing fiercely, flaunting their individual look. Netizens took notice of the girls’ lips, as each member has on a rather interesting choice of color and design. Members CL and Dara both have on animal print patterns, while Minzy and Bom have on a solid, pearly shade of purple and light pink respectively.  All four ladies are wearing temporary lip tattoos by Violent Lips, which has become all the rage this summer.

“It’s so unique, I think it’s a look only 2NE1 can pull of,” comments one netizen, “It looks kind of creepy, but I like it!”

Meanwhile, the girls are working diligently to promote their latest digital single “I Love You” as well as preparing for their world tour, expected to kick off on July 28th in Seoul. Note, the sudden passing of Minzy’s grandmother may alter their promotions.

For Blackjacks and Kpop fans world wide, it’s time to celebrate the return of 2NE1!

The girls have officially released the music video for “I Love You“, a track that is dubbed as “electro pop”, showing a new fierce, yet sexy transformation of the girls. The song deviates a bit from their previous releases with a more mellow vibe and producer Teddy experimenting with new sounds, but it’s still a formula that works for the girls, nonetheless.

[INFO] 2NE1′s Dara reveals her eating habits

 

2NE1‘s Dara revealed a few details about her eating habits during an interview at YG Entertainment on July 6th KST.

Dara stated, “I don’t eat without rice. Whenever I go overseas, I take packaged rice and red pepper paste. I don’t eat bread or ramen as a substitution to a meal. Only rice.”

Fellow 2NE1 member CL commented, “Dara unni always remembers to take her packaged rice, even to Japan, which is close [to Korea]. That’s why her overseas luggage is always filled with rice.” Dara responded, “When I travel far, there are many times I can’t get a proper meal. It’s hard during those moments.”

She went on, “During our recent break, the members and I went to the Alps via airplane for the first time, it was a truly new experience. To be honest, I have a fear of flying so I can’t ride on a plane for long.”

In related new, 2NE1 will have their “I Love You“ comeback stage on this week’s ’Inkigayo‘ on SBS. The group’s world tour, ‘NEW EVOLUTION‘, will start in Seoul, South Korea at the Olympic Gymnastics Arena, on July 28-29.

2NE1‘s Park Bom and Dara held a surprise Q&A session on me2day.

Park Bom mentioned that it’s been a while since ‘2NE1 TV‘ has aired so she wanted to give fans the chance to ask questions that they’ve been wondering about. She and Dara then answered some questions during the guerilla chat event.

Dara posted on July 7th KST: “I’ve picked a couple of questions to answer ^^; There are too many so I can’t answer them all. I’m sorry T.T I’m becoming less eloquent lately… It’s hard to speak in an entertaining way. Kekeke. These days, [I have to stick to an innocent concept]… Then, I’ll take a few more questions ^^”.

The 2NE1 member posted to me2day on July 2nd KST, “What’s up?!? Everyone~ Shall we talk? July 11th evening!!! me2day star chatting with 2NE1!!! Are there things you’ve been curious about or wanted to tell us?!? I’m curious! For those who want to participate~ Right now! Register~ ^_^ It’s real chatting~! Wow~ My heart’s fluttering! What should we talk about…?”

Registration for a chance to participate in the chatting event will be open from July 2nd until the 9th at midnight KST. The ten lucky Blackjacks who’ve won the opportunity to chat with the 2NE1 members will be revealed on July 10 KST, and the actual chat event will take place on the evening of the 11th.

Last night on SBS‘ Inkigayo, popular girl group 2NE1 released a teaser of what sounds like the chorus or bridge to their upcoming digital single, “I Love You“.  Moments ago, the ladies released  Dara‘s official audio teaser.

Labeled ‘electro-pop’ by the pint-sized beauty, “I Love You” has a mellower vibe than many of 2NE1′s previous title songs, though still retains the signature feel of a 2NE1 track.  With only days until the July 5th release, we’re are getting more and more excited to hear the final product.

After slowly teasing fans over the weeks, YG Entertainment has finally released the official comeback date for 2NE1 as well as revealing the next teaser photo for member Dara!

Dara showcases a new dramatic hair style with the words ’2012.07.05′, signifying the date of their album release!

As reported earlier, the girls will also be embarking on their first world tour later in July with the help of renowned professionals like Jeremy Scott, Divinity Roxx, Michael Cotten, and Travis Payne.

On June 25th, Dara posted to her me2day, “I’m inviting everyone to 2NE1′s 2012 ‘NEW EVOLUTION‘ concert! ^_^The staff members joining us this time around are no joke~ production!? Choreography? Band! Stage outfits?!? Everything! They’ll be revealed slowly ^^ Take a guess~! It’s a different feel than last year’s concert. Will you be the best audience at the ‘New Evolution’ concert?”

In the picture, Dara brushed her hair to the side, accentuating her new voluminous hairstyle.
